About
The point of this site is to create a collaborative weblog for geeks. If you’re a geek, you’re invited to create an account and begin posting clever hacks, code snippets, software downloads, links or just thoughts and ideas you come up with.
I started this site because our personal blog was getting a little cluttered with my own geek ramblings, when really most of our visitors really just wanted to see baby pictures. But I know a few other talented geeks out on the web, and I’d love it if I wasn’t the only one posting to this space.
To join in, just send me your idea for something worth posting. If you pass as a geek, you’re in! I’ll make you an account, and you’ll be a co-editor of the site! A few guidelines:
- Use Categories to break up the posts — there’s probably not much reason to create any new categories — and Tags to classify your posts.
- Don’t post copyrighted material directly on the site.
- Feel free to add your own personal website to the blogroll so people can learn more about you.
- If you don’t post or otherwise contribute within 24 hours, I’ll have to assume you’re a spambot, and delete your registration.
And if you’re looking for baby pictures, or news about Jon and Nicole Wise, visit the sister site: www.jonandnic.com
